REMEMBER ME

Remember me with smiles not tears,
for all the joy through the years.
Recall the closeness that was ours,
A love as "sweet" as fragrant flowers.

Don't dwell on thoughts that cause you pain,
We'll see each other once again.
I am at peace... try to believe.
It was my time.... I had to leave.

But "what a view" I have from here,
I see your face, I feel you near,
I follow you throughout the day,
You're not alone along the way.

And when God calls you... you will be,
right by my side.. right here with me.
Till then, I'll wait by Heaven's door,
We'll be united.. evermore.

HE IS NOT GONE

Ease my grief, he is not gone,
for in my heart, he lingers on.
His smile, his laugh, his special way,
will comfort me from day to day.

I will feel his presence in the breeze
that dances gently through the trees.
And its his face that I shall see,
When I'm in need of company.

At any time I can recall,
the love we shared... I saved it all.
And in time, more than anything,
I will find peace in remembering.

Peter Romano

Dear Donna, Vincent & Richard,
I will always have great memories of a great man, your Dad, my uncle, Vinnie. And, Richard, your eulogy was so correct, and so well expressed. We have all been influenced in so many positive ways by him. I have such great memories of our visits to your home and parties where your Dad and mine spent hours entertaining everyone by playing guitar and singing.
My deepest condolences again...
