Isabelle Hendrickson Obituary
Isabelle Hendrickson, a lifelong resident of Middletown, NY, and retired employee of Classy Leather Goods, died Sunday, June 22, 2008 in Middletown Park Manor. She was 81.
The daughter of the late Walter and Florence Smith McGinty, she was born July 9, 1926 in Middletown, NY. She was the widow of Douglas Hendrickson.
Isabelle was a member of the Town of Wallkill Seniors, where she served as Vice President and Treasurer. She was a member of the Happy Seniors.
Survivors include her children: Linda Murns and her husband, Joel and Douglas Hendrickson Jr. and his wife, Elizabeth, all of Middletown; her foster daughter, Barbara Sheeley and her husband, Robert of Glen Spey; her grandchildren: Kimberly Eddy, Douglas III, Megan, Joel, Jodi and Leah; her great-grandchildren: Jennifer, Rebecca, Brianna, Logan, Justin and Thomas; her cousin, Eleanor Dey and her dear friends, Robert and Eileen Skidmore and George H. Delamarter, all of the state of Florida. She was predeceased by her sisters, Viola Fairweather and Irma McGinty; her great-granddaughter, Jeanne Shimer and foster daughter, Trudy Ibbetson.
Visitation hours will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24, at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc., 72 W. Main St., Middletown, NY.
Services will be held on Wednesday, June 25, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Wallkill Cemetery, Phillipsburg, NY.
