Marjorie Ihburg Obituary
Marjorie J. Ihburg of Middletown, a therapy aide having retired from the Middletown Psychiatric Center and longtime resident of the area, died Monday, June 23, 2008 at home. She was 68.
The daughter of the late Walter and Marjorie Jacobsen Knapp, she was born on September 5, 1939 in Congers, NY.
Survivors include her children, Sherri Cortland of Orlando, FL, Debra Smith of Circleville, Kathy Seeley of Middletown and Jeffrey Ihburg of Middletown; her brothers, Kenneth Knapp of the state of Florida, Gerald Knapp of Maine and Donald Knapp of Arkansas and her sisters, Dorothy Collins and Sandra Knapp, both of the state of Florida. She is also survived by her grandchildren, William, Steven, Jeffrey, Samantha, Keith and Lauren and her great grandchildren, Helena, Steven and Elizabeth, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her sister, Ellen Kennedy and her brother, Walter Knapp.
Visitation hours will be held from 9-10 a.m. on Friday, June 27 at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc., 72 West Main St. in Middletown, NY. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Wallkill Cemetery in Phillipsburg, NY.

You will always be Babe to me. I not only lost a sister, but I lost a best friend. Please forgive me for not being able to attend your services. Had I known that God was taking you so soon, I would have cancelled my surgery. Know that you will always be in my heart and will be my "Swan" forever. I love and miss you.
