To the Carey Family,

Please accept my heartfelt condolences on Fran's passing. I always loved seeing him and have so many great memories from childhood, especially of Fran sitting down and playing the piano at my parents' home. It is comforting to know that there is now one more star shining in the heavens.

Dear Cathy and family,
I am so sorry about your dad's passing. When i think about my blessings growing up, getting to know you and your family is one. You had a wonderful impact on my life - it was cool to say i rode to school with ms nathan hale! You were a great role model and i always loved your sense of humor and admired your work ethic and selflessness. Thinking of you all

Dear Cathy and family,
I have many fond memories of your dad during our days of youth at Nathan Hale. I also remember seeing him at BOK and chatting with him while I worked there in the late 70's. Your dad accepted me as one of his own when I would come to visit the Carey house. Take comfort in knowing I am praying for you and may this sad time bring fun memories of your dad and his legacy of love for his family will live on forever. May the peace of the Lord always be with you.

My friendship with Fran began circa 1940 when he, Dick Hayes and I were members of the Sons of American Legion Marching Band. In Jr. High, we met Biff Bates and the four of us were close friends through High School. In 1954, Biff, Fran and I were all in Korea at the same time. Fran and I kept in touch over the years. Fond memories will always be with me.

Fran was an active member of The Epiphany Group, a small faith-sharing lay Catholic group, of which we also are members. We really enjoyed working with him, and sharing our thoughts with him. He was really a great guy. Our deepest sympathies to his family.

Our sympathy to the family. Fran was with BOK for many years and graced us with his smiling and friendly face. I'm sure Bev is waiting for him at Heaven's Gate.

I worked with Fran at Bank of Oklahoma for a number of years. He was one of my favorite people - always smiling, always an uplifting word for everyone. He spoke often of his family, and how much they all meant to him. He will missed by so many. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
