Francis Kempinger Obituary
Francis William Kempinger, of Naperville, IL (formerly of North Carolina), passed away on July 4, 2008.
Born on December 14, 1917 in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of Francis X. Kempinger and Edna Stern Kempinger.
He was married to the late Paulette Kempinger and the late Genevieve Kempinger.
He was predeceased by a son, William Francis Kempinger and a grandson, Billy Tyler Tscheschlog.
He is survived by his children, Roseann and husband, John Kaste of Naperville, IL, Stan Kempinger of Raleigh, NC, Francis and his wife, Dian Kempinger of Coral Springs, FL, Paul and his wife, Claire Kempinger of Chester, NY and Doreen Kempinger of Forestville, MD; 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; two sisters, Beverly Brunton and Edna Reiger.
Visitation will be on Thursday, July 10 from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday at Sacred Heart RC Church, Monroe. Interment will follow in St. Anastasia Cemetery, Harriman.
