Helen Crawford Obituary
Helen M. Crawford, of Middletown, NY, a retired domestic worker for St. Albert's Priory in Middletown and a lifelong Town of Wallkill resident, entered into rest on Sunday, July 6, 2008 in O.R.M.C. Horton Campus. She was 74 years old.
The daughter of the late Francis Russell Onley and Helen Jessburger Onley, she was born August 26, 1933 in Middletown, NY.
Helen was a graduate of Middletown High School and proud member of the Class of 1952.
Her survivors include her husband, Albert D. Crawford, at home in Middletown; her daughter, Kathryn M. Monaco of Bloomingburg; son, Michael D. Crawford of Middletown; granddaughter, Brittani Kai Monaco of Bloomingburg; sister, Maude Silver of Bloomingburg; two nieces, Susan and Barbara. She was predeceased by her parents and brother, Edward Onley.
Friends may call at the Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, 26 Grove Street, Middletown, NY on Thursday, July 10 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. following visiting hours.
Interment will be in the Wallkill Cemetery, Phillipsburg, NY.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Carmelite Father's Development Center, PO Box 868, Middletown, NY 10940.

I WAS SO SAD TO SEE THAT HELEN HAD PASSED AWAY, I WORKED WITH HER MANY YEARS AGO AT WOOLWORTH'S. I CAN STILL SEE HER RUNNING AROUND AND TRYING TO GET THINGS DONE. I FEEL LIKE I KNEW HER FAMILY,SHE ALWAYS TALKED ABOUT THEM ,SHE WILL BE GREATLY MISSED,REST IN PEACE.CONNIE GRIFFIN MASTERPOLO

I remember growing up with Helen. We called her "Skeeter" at the time. She always had a happy smile and was the best cousin anyone could ask for. My deepest sympathy to her family.
