Kathy and Alfie's families:
Alfie and I go back to 1975 and I will forever be grateful to Alfie for helping his mom save my life. He was an Angel put in my path and now an Angel in heaven to watch over you all. I attempted to join you all at his services, but, I got lost in Highland and sadly missed saying Good-bye to a great Gentle Man.
May GOD Bless you all in this so sorrowful a time.

Kathy and Family,

I can't believe this happened again. I never met Alfie, but I have heard great things about him. You are a wonderful and strong person and our deepest sympathy goes to you and your family. Love you and God Bless!

Hello Kathy, and all of Alfie's family.

When I think of Alfie, one of my favorite memories was up in Quebec, at St. Jerome. There was an awesome hand painted wall banner/sign that read: "I Love US!" Alfie had gotten up to share/speak to the group there. At one point he simply raised his hands (in that way that he did), and said with a crooked smile and a twinkle in his eye "I love us!" And he did.

It was a special time, and we were all so fortunate to have each other. Alfie was a big part of what made it special.

May his memory be a blessing, and bring you peace.

Kathy and Family,

We are both saddened by the loss of Alfie. He was a wonderful man and his spirit will live on because of all the kindness and love he gave to his family, his friends, and perfect strangers. I can’t tell you how much both Alfie and you, Kathy, mean to my mom and brother (Ellen and Patrick). I'm glad we were able to visit, be it short, while we were in CT at Patrick's graduation party. The world is a better place becuase Alfie lived. Please know our thoughts are with you.

Dear Lisa & Family,

You will not remember me for you were just a little one when I watched you a few times when you lived with your mom & dad in Highland Falls. Your Dad was a wonderfully talented, loving and easy going man. May your heart be filled with many memories. God Bless.

Dear Kathy and family,

Gary & I will smile through the tears, remembering seeing you & Alfie at Gaelic Festival last month in Trumbull, so pleased that you'd married this gentle man with whom you'd shared so much.

We are saddened that the journey will continue without him and will say a prayer for you all.

Love from,
Babs and Gary
