Midge and I are sadden to hear of Alfie's sudden passing. Our prayers go out to Kathy and the rest of the family. May God Bless.

little papa - i'll always miss you. i wish i could be with you again. i love you.

Kathy and Alfie's families:
Alfie and I go back to 1975 and I will forever be grateful to Alfie for helping his mom save my life. He was an Angel put in my path and now an Angel in heaven to watch over you all. I attempted to join you all at his services, but, I got lost in Highland and sadly missed saying Good-bye to a great Gentle Man.
May GOD Bless you all in this so sorrowful a time.

Kathy and Family,

I can't believe this happened again. I never met Alfie, but I have heard great things about him. You are a wonderful and strong person and our deepest sympathy goes to you and your family. Love you and God Bless!

Alfie had gotten up to share/speak to the group there. At one point he simply raised his hands (in that way that he did), and said with a crooked smile and a twinkle in his eye "I love us!" And he did.

It was a special time, and we were all so fortunate to have each other. Alfie...

Kathy and Family,

We are both saddened by the loss of Alfie. He was a wonderful man and his spirit will live on because of all the kindness and love he gave to his family, his friends, and perfect strangers. I can’t tell you how much both Alfie and you, Kathy, mean to my mom and brother (Ellen and Patrick). I'm glad we were able to visit, be it short, while we were in CT at Patrick's graduation party. The world is a better place becuase Alfie lived. Please know our thoughts are...
