Wilfred Simpson Obituary
Wilfred W. Simpson, 61, of Goshen died Monday, July 14, 2008 at St. Anthony's Hospital in Warwick, NY.
Wilfred was born July 17, 1946 in New York, NY, the son of Wilfred F. and Odelle (Royster) Simpson. He was married for 22 years to Audrey Morgan until she passed in 1990.
He was a 1964 graduate of Music and Art High School in New York, NY, entered the U.S. Air Force and served from October 1967 to October 1971, was employed by R.J. Reynolds in the Bronx as a Salesman, and was a truck driver and an Umpire in the N.Y.S. Umpires Association.
He is survived by three sons, Timothy Simpson and wife Dina of Goshen, NY, Todd Simpson and wife Jaime of Plattsburgh, NY and Terry Simpson of Croton Harmon, NY; his brother, Wesley Simpson of Hackensack, NJ and three grandchildren, Jaylen, Kiera and Jordan.
Graveside Service with Military Honors will be Thursday, July 17, 2008 at 2 p.m. in Washingtonville Cemetery, Washingtonville, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Wilfred's name to American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.

I was so sad to hear that your dad passed away. We had many laughs as we watched you kids grow up. I will never forget his friendship. I know he and your mom will look down on you all and smile to see how you have all grown into wonderful young men.

Tim,Todd,Terry and family, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your dear father. All I could think when I heard the news was your Mom couldn't wait for him any longer. I have such fond memories of your dad. All the times he would stop in a snowstorm and help me shovel to his imitations of Topo-Georgio and his love of Ben and Jerry's Chunky Monkey....
