Sarah Gregg Obituary
Sarah Elaine Gregg, a longtime resident of Damascus, PA, died July 19, 2008 at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale, PA. She was 68.
The daughter of Dode and Ethel Williams, she was born June 1, 1940 in Memphis, TN.
Sarah worked at the Delaware Valley Job Corps Center of New York in Callicoon, NY for 28 years. She loved tending her flower gardens and enjoyed her family.
Survivors include her husband, William Gregg, at home; her daughter, Tammy Zaleski and her husband, Mark of Milford, PA; her son, Fred Gregg and his wife, Jennie of Tunkhannock, PA; three grandchildren: Sarah and Andrew Zaleski and Joshua Gregg; one brother, Kenneth Williams of Millington, TN; many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Jean Wilbanks of Memphis, TN and Wilette Harding of Mississippi.
Friends may call at the Stewart-Murphy Funeral Home, Callicoon, NY (845-887-4900), on Tuesday, July 22, from 4 to 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, July 23, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Galilee, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Sarah's name to Damascus Volunteer Ambulance Corps or the American Cancer Society.
