Anna O'Connor Obituary

Sparkill, NY

Anna Carmody O'Connor of Sparkill, formerly of Salisbury Mills, entered into rest on Monday, July 21, 2008 at home. She was 99.

She was born on October 26, 1908 in Cuss Moyvane County Kerry, Ireland. She was the window of Patrick O'Connor.

She is survived by her loving and devoted children, Kathleen McMahon and Patrick O'Connor; loving grandsons, Kevin and Lawrence McMahon; great-granddaughters, Meghan and Kaitlyn McMahon.

Visitation will be held from 11:30-12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 23, at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh, NY 12550. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Newburgh. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Newburgh.

My deepest sympathies to the family.I am a grand-daughter of Patrick and Margaret Carmody of Cuss, Moyvane, Listowel Co.Kerry.I am living in Co.Kildare.I also wish to extend my sympathies on behalf of my Father and Mother D.J & Esther Carmody also of Cuss, Moyvane.D.J is the eldest son of Patrick and Margaret Carmody.
