Charlotte Brizzolara Obituary
Charlotte E. Brizzolara, 83, of Goshen, NY entered into rest Monday, July 21, 2008 at Valley View Center for Nursing Care & Rehabilitation, Goshen, NY.
Charlotte was born October 20, 1924 in Haverstraw, NY the daughter of Minnie Foltete. She was married to Robert S. Brizzolara in Haverstraw on March 14, 1953. She was formerly of Northvale, NJ, Milford, PA and Bloomingburg, NY. She was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels in Pike County, PA.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Robert S. Brizzolara of Goshen, NY; two sons, James R. Brizzolara and wife, Susan of Bloomingburg, John P. Brizzolara and wife, Theresa of Washingtonville; two daughters, Carol D. Davis and husband, Richard of Honesdale, PA, Marilyn Macerone and husband Paul of Blooming Grove; nine grandchildren, Carrie Mazanec and husband Kenneth, Joseph and Paul Macerone, Shawn Bihler, Christopher and Danielle Brizzolara, Josephine, John and Jacqueline Brizzolara; two great-grandchildren, Cyrah and Kayne Bihler. She was predeceased by her grandson, Scott Bihler.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 23, from 6-8 p.m. at the Donovan Funeral Home, 82 South Church St., Goshen, NY.
Funeral Services will be in the Funeral Home at 8 p.m. Burial will be private in Orange County Veterans Cemetery, Goshen, NY.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Charlotte's name to the Alzheimer's Association, NY Chapter, 2 Jefferson Plaza, Ste, 203, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601.
