Candida Martinez Obituary
Candida Rosa Martinez, a former employee at Osram Corp. in Maybrook, died Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Horton Campus. She was 70.
She was born to the late Candido and Jane Ortiz Martinez on June 29, 1938 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico.
Candida loved to go to Atlantic City and spending time with her family. She will be truly missed.
She is survived by her beloved children, Elba Willis, Antonio Rodriguez and Marilyn Mitchell; her cherished grandchildren, Lucinda & Luis Rodriguez and Jessica Willis. Also surviving are, her loving siblings, Virginia Negron of Sebastian, FL, Pilar Ristorucci of San Diego, CA, Nelida Paxio of San Diego, CA, Manuel Martinez of Sebastian, FL, Phil Martinez of Veracruz, Mexico, John Martinez of San Diego, CA and Ismael Martinez of Newburgh; dear nieces, Yvette Lauterborn and Jennifer Crenshaw and many other nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved son, Santos Rodriguez and brothers, Wilfredo and Alfredo Martinez.
A Memorial Service will be held today, Friday, July 25 at 11 a.m. at Coloni Funeral Home, 3001 Rt. 9W, New Windsor, NY 12553.
Cremation was private. Interment of Ashes will be in Calvary Cemetery in New Windsor at a later date. For further information, please contact Coloni Funeral Home (845)561-0238.
