Dennis L. Sutton, age 58, of Gardiner died Saturday, July 26, 2008 at St. Francis Hospital, Poughkeepsie, NY.

Mr. Sutton was born December 6, 1949 in Newport News, VA, the son of the late E.C. and the late Dorothy (White) Sutton. He married Loren G. Stern April 1, 1983 in Wappingers Falls, NY.

He was employed by Den-Lo, Gardiner, NY.

He is survived by his wife, Loren G. (Stern) Sutton; three daughters, Rachel Sutton of Gardiner, NY, Meggan Sutton of Brooklyn, NY and Cori & Douglas Schultz of Florida; one son, Gregg Sutton of Gulfport, MS; one sister, Judy Sutton of Rio Rancho, NM; grandchildren, Mason Sutton, Samantha Schultz, and Aeden Schultz; aunt & uncle: Walt & Nancy White of La Grangeville, NY and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Calling hours will be Thursday, July 31 from 5-7:30 p.m. at Copeland Funeral Home, Inc., 162 South Putt Corners Road, New Paltz, NY. The funeral will be held at 7:30 p.m. at Copeland Funeral Home, Inc. Cremation will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Newburgh, NY.

Memorials may be made to UCSPCA, 20 Wiedy Rd., Kingston, NY 12401.

Loren and family,
My heart goes out to you all during this very difficult time. I too was faced with the loss of my father (57) 9 months ago. It may not seem possible now, but you will get the strength you need from each other. Celebrate his life, carry on his memory.
