David Charneco Obituary

Eastampton, NJ

David Charneco of Eastampton passed away on July 26, 2008 at his residence. He was 50.

David was born in the Bronx, NY and has lived in Eastampton for the past six years. He was retired from the US Air Force after 22 years of service, where he traveled all over the world while serving in the military. For the past six years David was working for Comcast as a Network Analyst in Mt. Laurel. He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus on Fort Dix and he also was a member of the Sacred Heart Church in Mt. Holly, NJ. David loved animals, he loved to listen to a variety of different types of music, he also loved to watch movies, but his biggest love was his family. He was a wonderful husband, a loving father, a great brother, a great uncle and a great friend who will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents, Sixto and Consuelo Charneco and his brother, Richard Charneco.

David is survived by his wife of 26 years, Laura Charneco; his daughter, Venessa Garcia and Bruce Archer; his sons, SRA. Ginel David Charneco and Robert Anthony Charneco; his grandson, Bruce Antonio Archer; his brothers, Joseph A. Ginel and Father Robert Ginel. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Jeanette Charneco; his nephews, Richard & James Charneco and Joseph & Michael Ginel and his niece, Lisa Ginel.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Main Chapel on Fort Dix. Relatives and Friends may visit with the family Monday evening from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday evening from 7-9 p.m. at the Lee Funeral Home, 317 High St., Mt. Holly, NJ. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of David to the American Cancer Society, 1851 Old Cuthbert Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034 or 1626 Locust St., Philadelphia, PA 19103.

I still can't believe you are gone... My Uncle & childhood friend... I miss you so very much and I hate the fact that we were not able to spend more time together.
