Stefan Palo Obituary
Stefan Palo, Jr. of East Patchogue, NY, died on Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at Brookhaven Memorial Hospital, Brookhaven, NY. He was 66.
The son of Stefan and Maria Kocisova Palo, Sr., he was born on September 14, 1941 in Hatalov, Slovakia.
Stefan was employed at the Brookhaven National Laboratory for 29 years.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Maria Anna (nee Bednarik) at home; four sons, Stefan III, Michael, Joseph and Daniel; one brother, Michael, and three grandchildren, Shawn, Scott and Steven.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10, from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, NY.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 11, at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Route 42, Woodbourne, NY. Interment will follow at the Fantinekill Cemetery, Route 209, Ellenville, NY.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Stefan's name to Tribute Program: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.

Steve - you left a a void in our lives too soon, and now you are resting on the promise that one day, we will all see each other again. As you rest, you can be proud of the wonderful legacy you left behind, four wonderful boys and 3 precious grandkids. The sorrow is ours, the victory is yours.
