Anna Avella Obituary

Anna Frances Avella, 78, of Lattintown Road, Newburgh, NY, died Wednesday, August 6, 2008 in St. Luke's Hospital, Newburgh, NY.

Born in Mt. Vernon, NY on September 11, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Philip Rinaldi and the late Anna D'Domenico Rinaldi. Mrs. Avella was married in Marlboro, NY on May 1, 1955 to Albert Joseph Avella, Jr. who predeceased her on January 6, 2004.

Survived by two sons, Ronald Anthony Avella of Newburgh and Patrick James Avella and wife, Roseann of Newburgh; one daughter and son-in-law, Annette & Gerard Biviano of Marlboro; two sisters, Felicia Lattella of Connecticut and Jenna Partington of Marlboro; two brothers, Philip Rinaldi, Jr. and Vincent Rinaldi of Missouri; four grandchildren, Anthony, AnneMarie and Laura Biviano and Giuliana Avella and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Satuday morning at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, Marlboro with the Father Edward Bader officiating.

Calling hours will be today, Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the DiDonato Funeral Home, 1290 Route 9W, Marlboro, NY.

Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Marlboro, NY.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 2680, North Canton, OH 44720.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Carl J. DiDonato, Jr. and Lawrence M. Cavazza of the DiDonato Funeral Service, Inc. 845-236-4300.
