Donald Forte Obituary
Donald N. Forte of Montgomery & Liberty, passed away on Friday, August 15, 2008 at Orange Regional Medical Center in Goshen.
He was the son of the late Nicholas A. Forte and Caroline Kusek Forte and was born on June 11, 1942 in Newark, NJ.
Donald owned and operated his law firm, Donald N. Forte, Esq. in Chester and was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
He is survived by his daughter, Deborah Dawn Forte of Montgomery; four grandchildren, Sebastian, Vanessa, Regina and Eric; seven great grandchildren and his fiancee, Madeline Goldberg of Chester.
There will be no visitation. Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, August 20 at the Orange County Veterans Cemetery, 111 Craigville Road, Goshen, NY, followed by interment.
Memorial contributions in Donald's memory may be made to a Veterans' Hospital of one's choice.

Don was a good man. He was there throughout my childhood and young adulthood and not because he needed to be. We weren´t related but he always showed me love as if we were.
My prayer is that Jesus has him safe and sound for us all to see again.

My grandfather was a great man he will be miss greatly by myself and his 3 great grand children who had the pleasure of knowing him, I wish there was more time in the world for everyone there was so much I still wanted to get to know about him and because of him I was able to finsih school. He was loving and caring and the most respected man I know in my life. It was a honor to have him as my grandfather We miss you Grandpa and your in out hearts and our prays all the time. We'll see you again one I know it.

This is Marty Jr, Virginia kiefer's grandson. Since i was an infant Don has been in my life. He saw that i wasn't living in a very safe environment when i was a baby. So, he used his lawyer skills to get me out of it and into my grandmothers hands. Since then, he has always checked on me and been there for me. I don't know if he ever gave his life to Jesus but I pray that God will take him into His arms so that I can see him again one day and tell him exactly how much I love him. I never had a chance to do that yet. I love you Don and my grandmother always had. She misses you even though your paths separated a while ago, and she always loved you.

I want to thank those of you who took the time to remember my dad and convey your thoughts for all to see. He was a beautiful man inside and out. A mans man, very stubborn and unyielding at times yet so giving an compassionate so sure about what he felt and learned in life also willing to share that knowledge he was a strong individual truly a gift to me his dughter, he will always be in my heart ,and in my ear at times I truly love and miss you daddy!
