Harold Ferguson Obituary

Formerly of Wallkill, NY

Harold Ferguson, 87, of West Burlington, NY, formerly of Wallkill NY, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2008 peacefully at his home with his family at his side in West Burlington.

The son of Benjamin and Cassie Mae Ferguson. He served with the Army in the 12 armored division in WW II. He worked at Dupont and Stauffer Chemical Co., in Newburgh, NY. He loved farming and mechanics and spent the last 2 1/2 years working along side his son, farming.

He was predeceased by his wife, Eleanor Reis Ferguson. He is survived by his son, Brian Ferguson and his wife, Lindy of West Burlington; grandchildren, Paul and Ellie Ferguson; a sister, Beatrice Becce of Waterbury, CT; two brothers, Charles Ferguson of Cornwall, NY and George Ferguson of Wallkill, NY, and many nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed.

Funeral services will be private and donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
