Cecilia Harding Obituary
Cecilia Harding passed away on August 26, 2008 surrounded by her children.
Daughter of the late George and Louise Kielty, she was born in Brooklyn, NY on March 15, 1923.
She married Vernon Harding who predeceased her in 1990.
She attended Newburgh Schools and worked at Bishop Dunn Memorial School as a Teacher's Assistant for several years.
Mom loved her family, home and animals. She was the ultimate animal advocate.
She is survived by her children, Verna Kirwan and husband, Tom, William Harding and wife, Patricia, Jane Fitzpatrick and husband, Charles and Brendea Harding. Also survived by her grandchildren, Victoria Fabiano and husband, Frank, Amy Bedetti and husband, Steven, Andrea Parker and husband, Ken, Jason Fitzpatrick, Courtney Harding, Kristi Fitzpatrick, and Matthew Kirwan and his wife, Jamie; great-grandchildren, Peter, Mandie, Chloe, Tyler, Kaylee, Justin, Addison, Sophia and Matthew; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Melissa on January 15, 2008 and two infant brothers, George and Frances.
The family would like to thank Dr. Mahavir Singh for his great care and fondness for our mother.
Visitation will be on Friday, August 29 from 5-8 p.m. for Cecilia along with a memorial visitation for her daughter Melissa at the Doulin Newburgh Funeral Home, Inc.
Funeral service will be Saturday, August 30 at 10 a.m. at Doulin Newburgh Funeral Home, Inc. with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.

To Renny,Verna,Skippy and Janey, How fortunate I was to know and be part of you family and friends for so long. I can still see Mom Ceel And Dad Vern playing games in the evening in the Dining room and Missy with her Goey as Renny and I would make a pit stop on our way to some where.What a fun second family you all were.
I was very Happy to see Ceel one last time in May and how frail but beautiful she looked.They will all be very sadly missed but in your hearts and memory forever.
