Dear Tina,
I remember meeting Jim a few times at your Aunt Kate's house. He was such a nice person and when I saw you together I could see just how happy the two of you were. I was so sorry to hear about his passing. My heart goes out to you and Peyton. I know it isn't easy, but you have the love of a wonderful family and a beautiful daughter to hold on to. My prayers are with you all.

Dear Tina,
It is still completely unfathomable to us that Jamie is gone. He was one of those “larger than life” people, not only in stature but in spirit. We got to know him six years ago when he did electrical work for us, and he always found a way to fit us into a busy schedule that included a family and a full-time job in the city. But Jamie was always more than an electrician to us. We shared stories over the years about everything from family to home improvements to our hopes and dreams for our children. Jamie was clearly so very proud of Peyton. I well remember meeting the three of you around the holidays last year in our driveway, when Jamie had stopped by on the way to a family gathering to help us out with an electrical issue. Even during the busy holiday season, he went out of his way for us. I don’t think we’ll ever be able to turn on a light or pick up the remote control again without thinking of Jamie.
The singer/songwriter Jackson Browne once wrote, “Somewhere between the time you arrive and the time you go, may lie a reason you were alive, but you’ll never know.” In the same song he advises, “go ahead and throw some seeds of your own.” Jamie’s spirit will always be present for all who knew him in this life, and will forever shine from within the little girl he loved so much.

There are few words to express such a sudden and tragic loss. He left such a beautiful little girl behind. She won't forget him. I just know it. She loved him too much.
This one's for you Peyton:
You're such a pretty little girl
Full of laughter, joy and fun
Your daddy is your angel now
Though I'm sure he's not your only one
Together you rode Trooper
Played with Bell, and sang songs before bed
You'll be daddy's little girl forever
That goes without being said
Until the end, he loved his wife
But you meant the world to him
You were his pride and his joy and his life.
He'll be watching over you, sweetheart
And I promise, you will make it through
Because with every step you take,
Your daddy will always be watching over you
All the love in the world,
Kaitlin

A loving father and husband, a warm and friendly face, a jovial, free-spirited personality.
Jim, you will forever be remembered and loved by your family and friends for the wonderful person we always knew you to be. God has taken you to Heaven, but He left us your strong spirit that continues to shine brightly in your beautiful little girl and loving wife.
Rest in peace, Jim, always.
Love,
Lauren
