Dear Caroline,

I'm really sorry to hear about your mother. We both know that she is now in a better place with her suffering gone. I know how much her pain caused you sorrow and grief.

Your mother will always be with you; her spirit and good will be part of you no matter where you go. I know that you wanted, needed, and hoped for more time to spend with your mother but the time you did spend with her meant so much. Your mother loved you very much and I know you will miss her terribly.

Mother's are truly special and Lisa was no exception. She was not only a mother in your family, but I felt as if she was my own mother. She certainly treated me like I was in the family, and I will always remember her generosity, kindness, welcoming spirit, and graciousness. I will miss her dearly as I know you will.

Lisa would follow her sister Helen and I all over Walden when she was a little girl and it seemed she grew into a woman but was always a sweet little girl to me.The world will be a little less bright with her not here.

My sincere and deepest condolences go to Lisa's family at this very difficult time. Lisa and I grew up in the the same Walden neighborhood many years ago. We were the same age. I remember when her daughter Caroline was born. I also remember her grandparents. I am very sorry to hear of her passing and send my blessings to all who knew her.
