I am in shock to have to even write an entry in my cousin's memorial guestbook. Although we were not in touch for the past few years... I will always have a place in my heart for Marie. Growing up with her was fun... and she always welcomed me with a huge hug and a smile. I am so sorry I won't get to see that again. Aunt Ceil, Mel and the whole family... my thoughts and prayers are with you.

I keep playing everything that has happened over and over. The fact that my sister is gone at some points still doesn’t feel real. Although, there have been many crazy/negative things that have taken place there has also been many fun, loving and positive memories. These are memories that will always be in my thoughts and in my heart.
I remember being pregnant with JJ and going through so many overwhelming feelings. Marie and I went to the track and walked and talked. By the time we were done I felt so much better. The times like this one, or the phone calls where she would check on the boys and I are things that were “normal” for Marie. Not one birthday went by that she didn’t remember to call (and wake us up of course) J to wish us a Happy Birthday and tell us she loved us. My sister was a good person with a good heart. Whether she is here on earth with us or up in Heaven she will always be remembered and love. Marie, you’re my sister and not one day will go by that you won’t be thought of. We love you very much and always will.

I am truly sorry for the whole family's loss. I went to high school with Marie, played field hockey with Marie, and went through a lot of ups and downs with Marie. I was completley shocked to get a call that she had passed. I am sorry that I found out very late last night. I have so many fun memories with her. She was definately a presence when she entered the room. Her smile was infectious and she made you want to know her. I will miss her and cherish all the crazy memories we shared.
