Marta Calmi-Santillo Obituary
Marta R. Calmi-Santillo of Highland Mills, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2008 at Westchester Medical Center, Valhalla, NY surrounded by her loving family. She was 57.
Marta was born in the Republic of San Marino on August 8, 1951. She was a Paralegal and an avid bowler. Her life revolved around her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Christina Egan and husband, Timothy of Highland Mills; sons, Paul Santillo and wife, Michele of Salisbury Mills, Robert Santillo of New Windsor; parents, Marino and Tina Calmi of Queens, NY; brother, Mario Calmi of Queens, NY; sister, Enza Prentice of Riverside, CA; six grandchildren, Jessica, Taylor, Zachary, Giana, Nicholas and Marino, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 9, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Ave., Monroe.
The Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, September 10, at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 26 Still Rd., Monroe. Cremation will follow at Cedar Hill Crematory, Middle Hope, NY.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Woodbury Community Ambulance Corps, PO Box 397, Highland Mills, NY 10930.
