Roxane Lang Obituary
Roxane Cross Lang, 52, of Jacksonville, FL, formerly of Loch Sheldrake, NY, died July 30, 2008 at Jacksonville Community Hospice after a short battle with ovarian cancer.
Roxane is survived by her children, Megan Myers of Los Angeles, CA, and Daniel Lang of Jacksonville, FL; her parents, Raymond and Gertrude Cross of Ft. Pierce, FL; sisters: Donna and husband, Robert LaPolt, Nancy and husband, Tom Saunders, both of New Paltz, NY, Patricia and husband, Robert Halprin of Loch Sheldrake, NY; brother, Raymond Renno Cross of Port St. Lucie, FL; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Roxane worked diligently the last eight years to raise money for her favorite charity the American Cancer Society, "Race for the Cure". Her other great joys were yard sale bargains and her backyard garden oasis.
A Mass in her memory will be held on Sunday, September 14, at 10:15 a.m. at St. Peter's Church, Liberty, NY with the Rev. Msgr. Straub officiating. Cremation already took place in Florida. Burial of the ashes will be made at the family farm in Loch Sheldrake, NY, at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1430 Prudential Dr., Jacksonville, FL 32207 in memory of Roxane Cross Lang for the "Relay for Life, Get Pumped for the Cure" or Community Hospice of NE Florida, 4266 Sunbeam Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32257.
Arrangements are under the direction of Copeland Funeral Home, Inc., 162 S. Putt Corners Rd., New Paltz, NY; 845-255-1212. Condolences may be made to the family at www.copelandfhnp.com.

I am shocked and saddened to hear of Rocky's passing. she and I were very close for a long time and I loved her like a sister. Megan and Daniel had a great mother who loved her family and life in general. I will always remember the great times we had at Kutsher's and Patty's farm. God Bless all of you. She is now your special ANGEL watching over you all.
