Eileen Theresa Donlan, 77, of Seminole, FL, passed away on Friday, August 1, 2008, in Bay Pines VA Hospital, FL.

The daughter of Raymond P. and Mary Estabrook Rogers, Sr., she was born in Cornwall, NY on July 31, 1931.

Eileen was a Staff Sergeant, WAC, serving during the Korean War, a retired secretary for Bay Pines VA Hospital, life member and past Commander of American Legion Post #70, Norwood, MA, member of VFW Post #9272, Seminole, FL, life member of DAV, Chapter 13, St. Petersburg, FL; past President and Secretary, WAC Association, Chapter 69, Seminole, FL; past Secretary, USMC Tankers Association, East Coast Chapter.

She is survived by husband, Capt. James T. Donlan, Sr., USMC (ret.); sons: James T. Jr., (Sandy) of New Zealand, and Sean Patrick of New Port Richey, FL; brother, Raymond P. Rogers, Jr. of Newburgh, NY; sisters: Mary Mulligan of Newburgh, NY, Colleen Gibson of Newburgh, NY, Frances Rogers of Newburgh, NY, Kathleen Newcombe of Florissant, MO, and Margaret Eggleston (Michael) of Nokesville, VA; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service was held Wednesday, August 6, at Bay Pines National Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice Care Unit, Bay Pines, VA Hospital, Box 5055, Bay Pines, FL 33744.
