Norma Andro Obituary

New Paltz, NY

Norma M. Andro, age 83, of New Paltz, died Monday, September 15, 2008 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie, NY.

Mrs. Andro was born June 26, 1925 in Passaic, NJ, the daughter of the late Francis and the late Elizabeth (Weinpel) Bodry.

She worked her way up from being a teller to her position of Assistant Vice President at the time of retirement in 1990. After retirement, she worked for some years at Pine Funeral Home. She was a longtime member of the New Paltz/Gardiner Senior Citizens.

She retired in 1990 from Inter-County Saving Bank, New Paltz, NY.

She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Robin & Tom Male of New Paltz and beloved dog, Chivvy.

She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Andro, Sr. and son, Raymond Andro, Jr.

The funeral will be private at the convenience of the family.

Cremation took place in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Newburgh, NY.

Memorials may be made to The Foundation of VBMC, directed to the Cardiac Care Unit, 45 Reade Place, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601.
