Wally Titus Obituary

Monticello, NY

Wally C. Titus of Monticello, a frozen foods manager for Pathmark in Ramsey, NJ, died Monday, September 29, 2008 at the Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris. He was 49.

The son of the late Robert Titus and Eleanor VanTol Titus, he was born December 21, 1958 in Pompton Plains, NJ.

A beloved husband and father, Wally was also a member of Squirells Den Hunting Camp and the Local 1262 Union.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Price Titus, whom he married on June 15, 1985; three sons: Christopher Titus, Craig Titus & Casey Titus, all of Monticello; a brother, Robert Titus & his wife, Sharon of Monticello; a sister, Pat Inglis & her husband, Jack of Butler, NJ; mother-in-law & father-in-law, Ella & Lester Price; brothers-in-law, Vince & Glenna Price of Monticello and Russell Price of Detoit, MI; sister-in-law, Candy & Michael Hoyt of Rock Hill, NY and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Peg Curran.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 1 from 6-9 p.m. at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 401 Broadway in Monticello.

His funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Messenger Cemetery in Monticello.

Memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 628, Monticello, NY 12701 or to the National Wildlife Foundation, 11100 Wildlife Center Drive, Reston, VA 20190-5362.
