Mom,
I can't believe you've been gone for two weeks now. These have been the two hardest weeks of my life....so much harder than seeing you hurt so badly for so long, and that was SO hard.
Every time Dori asks for you, I can't help but tear up, trying to figure out how to explain to her that we can't go visit you. Every day, I show her pictures of you - pictures of you holding her, pictures of you at my wedding - and I tell her how much you loved her and how much we all miss you.
When I was with you, that last night, all I could think about was how much I wanted the pain to stop for you, how much I wanted you to be at peace. I know now that in order for that to happen for you, it meant you had to leave us.
I hope and pray that you are at peace and are no longer in pain. I know you can't be here with us physically, but you will always, ALWAYS be with us in spirit.
I love you, mommy, and I will miss you forever.

And so my Pam, you rest.....And hopefully, you are no longer hurting.......
Thank you for 51 years of you, your friendship and love.....You will always live on through our wonderful memories, through our daughter Elyssa Ann, as well as through the most delightful gift to all of us, our granddaughter, Dori Ilana.
So rest easy......
