Susan Spacafora Obituary

Brooklyn, NY. Susan was the wife of the late Thomas Spacafora, a member of the Church of the Assumption, Maybrook and of the Golden Links Senior Citizens, Maybrook. She is survived by her son, Thomas F. Spadafora and his wife, Janet of Montgomery; one sister, Jean Martin-Culet of Brooklyn; three grandchildren, Thomas J. and wife, Christine, Dina Slowitsky and husband, Rob and Christopher; three great-grandchildren, Gianna, Matthew and Jake; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Maryann Becker; brother, Thomas Morello, and sister, Madeline Salvi.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY

A Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, October 10, at the Church of the Assumption, Maybrook. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Brooklyn.

Arrangements were by the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, Inc., 845-778-3811.

A former C.N.A at Montgomery Nursing home

Susan Spadafora was a wonderful person to be around she always made me laugh and have a good times in the short time i took care of her in Montgomery nursing home...she loved too always look nice and dress nice and she gave me lots of good advice when i needed it..she was always smiling and she loved her children....i will miss her and im glad shes in a better place
