Edith Kinne Obituary

Monticello, NY

Edith Kinne of Monticello, a lifelong resident of the area, died on October 1, 2008. She was 75.

The daughter of the late Chester and Flora Peterson Kinne, She was born on April 15, 1933 in South Fallsburg, NY.

Edith was last employed by the Fallsburg Central School District.

Survivors include her longtime friend and companion, Barbara Eberhard; three sisters: Ethel Stratton of Apalachin, NY, Helen Skubon of Largo, FL and Bertha Cleveland and her husband, Bill of Monticello, Utah; her two dedicated nieces, Barbara Yeomans and Evelyn Holland, as well as several other nieces and nephews and friends. She was predeceased by three sisters: Claire Hobby, Bessie Gibson, and Marie Jardin and two brothers, Chester Kinne, Jr. and Jack Kinne.

A memorial service was held on Monday, October 6 at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, NY.
