Francis Dollbaum Obituary

Sloatsburg, NY

Francis A. Dollbaum of Sloatsburg, NY entered into eternal rest on October 8, 2008 at the age of 81.

The son of the late Charles and Violet Kolano Dollbaum. He was born on June 20, 1927 in Wallington, NJ, Francis served ten years in the Merchant Marine Corp. during WW II and the Korean War. He was a retired stationary engineer at the Ford Motor Company in Mahwah, NJ for 28 years until it's closing. Francis was a loving and cherished husband of 55 years to the late Josephine A. Dollbaum. He was also a beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather and friend to many.

He is survived by his sons, Francis Jr. and his wife, Kaludia of Chester, Alan and his wife, Ginette of Quebec, Canada, Robert and his wife, Gayle of Southfields, his daughters, Denice Jones and her husband, Dennis of Monroe, and Patricia Lynch of Oak Ridge, NJ, ten grandchildren, Jessica, Robert, Frank, Alan, Dennis, Mathieu, Christopher, Brittney, Kevin, Andrew, and one great-granddaughter, Brooke Ashley; three brothers, Charles of CA, Walter of AZ, Norman of PA; two sisters, Madeline of CO, and Carol of MS. He was predeceased by two brothers, Edward and Joseph.

Friends may call on Friday, October 10, from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. at the Scarr Funeral Home, Inc., Route 202, Suffern.

Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 11, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. John in the Wilderness in Stony Point, NY.

In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice of Orange County, 800 Stonybrook Ct., Newburgh, NY 12550, would be appreciated.
