Beatrice Osborne Obituary
Pine Bush, NY
Beatrice "Mimi" Lina Osborne, a retired Personnel Administrator of the Bank of New York Trust Department in Newburgh and a lifetime resident of the area, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 9, 2008, at O.R.M.C., Horton Campus. She was 91.
Beatrice, the devoted daughter of Florence Kelp and Maynard E. Osborne, was born November 10, 1916 in Pine Bush, NY. Her parents were the proprietors of Osoborne's Drug Store, where she spent endless yet memorable years together with them serving the community. Beatrice's deep faith in her religion brought her peace and happiness throughout her life. Her life was enriched by the blessings of her beautiful and loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Their love and kindness gave her great joy, as did the kindness of friends and other family members.
Beatrice was a member of The Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 560, Walden, NY; member of the Mountain View United Methodist Church in Pine Bush, and St. Paul's Methodist Church in Middletown, NY.
Survivors include her loving daughter, Janice E. Blazeski and her husband, Joseph of Pine Bush; two loving grandchildren, Richard J. Blazeski and his wife, Allison of Pine Bush and Michael J. Blazeski of Pine Bush; four loving great-grandchildren: Joseph Scott Blazeski, Kathryn Lysbeth Blazeski, Alexander Thomas Blazeski, and Richard Patrick Blazeski, all of Pine Bush.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12, from 2-6 p.m. at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home, 1525 Burlingham Rd., Pine Bush, NY.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday October 13, at 10 a.m. at The Mountain View United Methodist Church, Rte 302, Pine Bush. Burial will take place in New Prospect Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Mountain View United Methodist Church, PO Box 238, Pine Bush, NY 12566.
The family would like to thank the nursing staff of Montgomery nursing home for the love and care they provided for our beloved Mimi. Our heartfelt thank you to Diane Baker for all the extra special sunshine she brought to my mother each day.
