Gerald Mulligan Obituary
Gerald J. Mulligan passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2008 at Legacy House in Ocala, FL. He was 82.
The son of the late Joseph Mulligan and Gertrude McDonald Mulligan, he was born on May 20, 1926 in the Bronx, NY.
He was a retired switchman for New York Telephone Company in Spring Valley and a veteran of the United States Army, serving during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Jeanne Giuliani Mulligan of Ocala, FL; sons, Gerald Mulligan and his wife, Janice of Toms River, NJ, Joseph Mulligan and his wife, Donna of Monroe and Robert Mulligan of Hawthorne, NJ; daughter, Christine Mulligan of Ridgewood, NJ; brother, George Mulligan of Pearl River; sisters, Gloria Martinez of Schertz, TX and Eleanor Seery of Patterson; six grandchildren: Jenna, Joanna, Jared, Kevin, Danny and Brian; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Mulligan.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 14, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Ave., Monroe, NY.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 15, at 10 a.m. at St. Anastasia Parish Church, Route 17M, Harriman. Interment will follow in St. Anastasia Cemetery in Harriman.
Memorial contributions may be made to Legacy House, 9505 S.W. 110th Street, Ocala, FL 34481.
