I have only known Steven for a short time, I met him at croswalk, My life has forever been changed by this man, Whether I talked to him at cross or at yahoo, he always asked me how he could pray for me, I know there was many a times he was in so much pain, but he set aside the pain and was so willing to pray for others, He oftened talked about his children, He was proud of each of you. He told me how they would sneak around and try and get his picture so he could have one to show his friends,
I know a few weeks ago he sent me a book called The Sernity Prayer, he said the book had blessed his life, and he wanted to bless mine. I will hang onto the book he sent to me, everytime I read it my memory will go back to the dear brother in the LORD who took time to reach out to me and bless my life. Steven Lockwood was truly and angel from Heaven, I know he is dancing in heaven with Jesus, I look forward to seeing him next the crystal sea, I know it will be Steven as he will have a smile as big as heaven. Thank you Jesus for allowing me to know Steven Lockwood for he has touched my life.

Steve will be missed by many. He was a strong and faithful servant here on earth to the Father in Heaven. Steve taught me what it meant to put ones self aside and to put the needs of other first. He taught me what it meant to be both counselor and guide. To be a true Prayer Warrior for others. Lock58 you will be missed at Crosswalk but the Lords work continues. Guide me as I continue to do what you have taught me to do, Serve God. My prayers are with you the children of my Prayer Brother. Your father now serves on a higher point and I know he continues to serve both faithfully and obediently.

Hard to believe we won't ever see "Lock58" again. Kim, Amber and Tommy, your dad was such a help to me when my husband passed suddenly. Even though we never met we prayed for each other. Your dad was a great prayer warrior and a special servant of Jesus. Take comfort in the fact you will see him again. He's worshiping at the feet of Jesus now!

Dad I miss you everyday and will always cry, but never forget the good times. Like when we went to the pool party. We had great fun and when you always said yes to me going over Ambers' house. We also had some rough times, but we got over them. I'm glad you met your dream; Hanging with Jesus. I know you look down upon us and give us good luck from now on, but sometimes bad luck will come our way. ( Even though I don't believe in Bad Luck ) Don't worry, I'll never forget you, or your smiling face EVER!

Though short the acquaintance, the distance so far...
i felt a bond with this Brother and star
Now "in the sky" of Believers' spirits in Heaven.
We shared faith in Christ and that bound us , dear Steven.

Be now at pure rest. Completely blessed.
We'll look forward to to meeting you,
When WE'VE passed our test ... of life, through strife

Regretting your loss, dear family and close friends.

We are sorry to hear about your loss. May God comfort you in this time of sorrow. I am sure you will miss your Dad. He is such a great father, great servant of the Lord and a great friend. We have not had the chance to meet in person but our communication through emails and a few telephone conversation will be missed. Steven, I would like you to know that I am sad because you left too soon, but I am happy knowing that you are with no pain anymore and enjoying the Kingdom of God.

Dearest Kim, Amber,Thomas, and family.
How shocked our family was Wed. Afternoon to hear that your Dad and Our good friend had passed away.
We all worked side by side at many church functions. Steve made it fun. He made a diffiicult job less stressful. He told funny stories about his youth. His stories were entertaining. When we were feeling down Steve would always cheer us up.I hope we cheered him up when he was feeling down.
Steve went to all of Brett's rock concerts. Steve is Aeonian's biggest fan.
Your dad didn't let anything get him down. I'll always remember him as the guy who could see the sterling silver lining in a dark cloud.
I remember all he went thru with his bad kidney. He spent alot of time at the hospital. Then he received a kidney. Everyone who new Steve was so glad for him. He got to do so much. Promise keepers with pasrter Jim and the men from church. Soon after he returned to work. He helped teach V.B.S. at church. He was always encouraging people to seek out jesus or to renew their relationship with him thru his e-mails.
Then we got the news he wasn't feeling so well during the summer. Steve explained to friends at church the results of his tests. He said to all of us by words and e-mail that Jesus my savior will get me thru.
He had the strongest faith I've ever known a person to have. I wonder If I will ever have the stong relationship your father had with Jesus?
Steve will always be in our hearts and all of you will be in our thoughts and prayers.
Nancy.

Kim,Amber and Thomas, Just wanted to let you know that your Dad was a really great man! He always had that big brilliant smile to share and good words to advise! He was a great support to our family when our Grandmother (Gertie Valk) was going thru her heart troubles! He would pray for her and write to his prayer partners and such!!! He was really a great Christian! You can take comfort in knowing that he is in a better place now and with a new body with no more pains or troubles!!! I am so sorry for your loss and know it hurts!
May God bless your family! Keep your faith!
