Anne Amodio Obituary
Anne L. Amodio of Maybrook, NY, a homemaker and longtime resident of the area, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at Campbell Hall Nursing Home, Campbell Hall, NY. She was 102.
The daughter of James & Caroline Andriola Tirella, she was born June 21, 1906 in Newark, NJ. She was the widow of Anthony Amodio to whom she was married for 60 years.
A family statement reads: "She will be remembered for her hospitality, her home baked goods and her collection of tea pots."
Survivors include nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Joy Amodio.
Funeral services were private at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, Walden with the Rev. Louis Giordano and the Rev. Jerry Bricker officiating.
Burial will be in Wallkill Valley Cemetery, Walden.
Arrangements were by the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, Inc., 39 Orchard St., Walden; 845-778-3811.
