Myrtle Schneider Obituary

Newburgh, NY

Myrtle (nee Walsh) Schneider, born in Fairview, NJ, and a resident of Newburgh, NY for over 60 years, entered into rest on Wednesday, October 15, 2008.

Before retiring, Mrs. Schneider was a receptionist for Dr. Crawshaw in Newburgh, NY. She was also an avid Bridge player.

She was the widow of Robert P. Schneider.

Survivors include two nephews, Edward Walsh and his wife, Pat of New Canaan, CT and Kevin Walsh of Naperville, IL; two nieces, Sharon Chess and her husband, Jay of Voorhees and Mary C. Jones and her husband, Ronald of Hasbrouck Heights, NJ; several great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18, from 9-9:30 a.m. at Costa Memorial Home, Boulevard & Central Ave., Hasbrouck Heights, NJ.

A Mass will follow on Saturday morning at 10 a.m. in Corpus Christi R.C. Church, Hasbrouck Heights, NJ. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Newburgh, NY.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hackensack University Medical Center Foundation, 360 Essex St., Suite 301, Hackensack, NJ 07601.
