Steve Galambos Obituary
Sparrowbush, NY
Mr. Steve S. Galambos of Sparrowbush, NY, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at Orange Regional Medical Center Horton Campus. He was 76.
He was born December 31, 1931 in Hungary, the son of the late Mathias and the late Elizabeth King Galambos. He was married to his loving wife, Lucy Joan Galambos, on December 21, 1973 in New York, NY.
Survivors include his loving wife, Lucy Joan Galambos at home; one daughter, Zina Klein of Fishkill, NY; three grandchildren: Robert Anthony Cutrupi and his wife, Cynthia, Mary Carmela Cutrupi, and Trent R. Klein; one nephew, Frank Ciano and his wife, Karen; five grand nieces and nephews: Zachary Doolittle, Megan Mary Ciano, Tyler Phillip Ciano, Joshua Michael Ciano, and Jenna Nicole Ciano; one great granddaughter, Illiana Nicole Cutrupi.
Friends may call at the Gray-Parker Funeral Home, Inc., 100 East Main St., Port Jervis on Friday, October 17, from 2-8 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 17, at 8 p.m. at the funeral home, with Rev. Joseph Iannone officiating.
There will be a private family burial.
In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of Steve may be made to the Children's Hospital Foundation, 19 Brahurst Ave., Suite 3060 N., Hawthorne, NY 10523; 914-493-2277.

Poppa,
the house is so empty now that you're gone. i see your truck in the drive way and keep thinking its just a dream, but no matter how hard i close my eyes and beg, you're still gone. i try to remember that it's only your body thats gone, and that you're still with me. but i want you here, you only got to dance with me in my white communion dress, and thats not enough for me. I LOVE YOU POPPA AND I WILL ALWAYS MISS YOU.

To Poppa,
i have only know you for seven years but out the years that i have known you, you have fill my heart with such joy. because of you I never have to worry of Rob taking care of me and Illiana (ur mickey mouse) because have thought him what its is to be a husband and a father. I love you poppa you became my Poppa. you are such a great person and anyone you have meant you have touch in a special way. this world will never be the same without you. Dont worry I will take care of Rob and ur mickey mouse. I will always love and miss you. You will be alive in our lives because of our memories. May you rest in PEACE!!!!!!!!!!!!
