Carl Friberg Obituary
Carl G. Friberg, 57, of New Windsor, died October 16, 2008 at home.
The son of Enar Henning Friberg and Dagmar Nordling, he was born November 20, 1950 in Tarrytown, NY.
He was a Plumber with Local 2, NY, NY. He was Trustee with the Peoples Regular Baptist Church, Maybrook NY, won the Grafnecker Award for for the highest grades in 4-year apprenticeship Program.
Suvivors include his wife, Susan Cohen Friberg of New Windsor; parents, Enar Henning Friberg of Brewster, NY and Dagmar Roman of Glen Spey, NY; children: Orin Sarabia of the Bronx, NY, Jason Sarabia of the Bronx, NY, Carl Friberg, Jr. & Sarajane Larkin, both of New Windsor; brother, Enar H. Friberg, Jr. of New Windsor; sister, Sonia Friberg of Glen Spey, NY; grandchildren: Cody Sarabia, Carmelo R. Torres & Eowyn R. Larkin. He was predeceased by a brother, Roy Peter Friberg.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m., Sunday, October 19, at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson St., Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY 12520.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, October 20, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Gley Spey Cemetery, Lumberland, NY.
