Pearl Lempka Obituary
Pearl E. Lempka of Florida, NY, a retired Supervisor for Avon Products, Middletown, NY and also retired from Zircar Products, Florida, NY, entered into rest on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 in O.R.M.C., Arden Hill Campus, Goshen. She was 82.
The daughter of the late Frances E. Heter & Joseph Lempka, she was born June 14, 1926 in Florida, NY.
She was a member of St. Joseph Church and St. Josephs Living Rosary Society, Florida, NY, Florida Senior Citizens, BPW of Orange County. Pearl was a 1944 graduate of S.S. Seward Institute.
She is survived by her sister, Adele M. Lempka of Florida, NY; brother, Edward J. Lempka and his wife, Brenda of Florida, NY; sister, Patricia A. Lempka of Florida, NY; brother-in-law, John P. Dever, Sr. of Florida, NY; nephews: John P. Dever, Jr. and wife, Ruth of Midlothian, VA., James E. Dever and wife, Harriett of Milford, PA., Richard M. Dever and wife, Jane of Florida, NY, and Vincent R. Lempka and wife, Carol of Florida, NY; great nephews, Michael J. Dever, Ryan Joseph Lempka and Alex C. Lempka, and many cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her sister, Frances J. Dever; nephew, Edward J. Lempka, Jr., and her great niece, Amanda Megan Dever.
Friends may call today, Friday, October 31, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921.
Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, November 1, at St. Joseph Church, Florida, NY. Reverend Joseph Tokarczyk will officiate. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Florida.

Pearl was a great lady. She will be remembered by my brother's (Eddee and Patrick), my cousin (Trevor) and I, for how gracious she was to us growing up. This is a sad loss. My deepest sympathy to the family.
