Catherine McHale Obituary

Cornwall - Catherine Mary McHale, a 16-year resident died on Friday, October 12, 2007 at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital - Newburgh. She was 83 years old.

She was the daughter of the late Patrick Rooney & Mary Jane O'Connor, born August 9, 1924 in New York, New York. Catherine was a retired registered nurse with the North Jersey Training School in Totowa, N.J., and she was a graduate of Miseracordia School of Nursing in the Bronx. Her husband, Martin J. McHale predeceased her.

Catherine is survived by: her daughters, Patricia A. McDermott of New Windsor & Ann Marie McHale of Chatham, N.J.; one son, Martin J. McHale of Katy Texas; niece & nephew, Maureen McNamara & Thomas Halloran; six grandchildren: Michael, Sheila Meghan & Erin McDermott, and Timothy & Anne Marie McHale.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Monday, October 15, 2007 at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson Street, Cornwall-On-Hudson NY 12520 A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 16, 2007 St. Thomas of Canterbury Church, Cornwall-On-Hudson. Burial will follow the Mass in Calvary Cemetery, Patterson N.J.
