Kristine Markarin Obituary
The daughter of Peter Conti and Eugenia Morseman Hultz, she was born on May 26, 1978 in Brooklyn, N.Y. Kris attended Fallsburg Central School and graduated in 1996. She met the love of her life, Greg Markarin and they were married in Fallsburg, N.Y. She spoke four different languages which included Italian, Spanish, Armenian and English. She was also a computer wiz and loved cooking. She was the best "Mom" and liked fishing, antique cars, and antiquing.
Kris leaves behind her loving husband of 12 years, Greg at home; two sons, Gregory Jr. and Alexander also at home; her mother, Gene Hultz, and her husband Tom of Woodbourne; her father, Peter Conti and his companion, Mary of Pennsylvania; two brothers, Peter Jr. and his wife Teresa of Arizona; John T. and his wife Cindy Haad of Pennsylvania; one sister, Geraldine Gorton and her husband Keith of Grahamsville; mother-in-law, Virginia Markarin and brother-in-law, Jeff Markarin both of Glen Wild; paternal grandparents, Frank and Grace Conti of Pennsylvania; two nieces, two nephews, many friends and cousins.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 16 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, N.Y.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 17 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
Cremation will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gregory and Alexander Markarin, 737 Benton Hollow Road, Woodbourne, NY.

Greg,gregory,alex and family, I'm sorry for your loss, and mine as well, it's been so long, and I love you all and love kristine always, sometimes our paths in life lead us away from the ones we love, but I've always thought of kristine and the great times, and was surprised and very lost when I heard. Greg, Gregory, Alex, Mom, Tom & the rest of the family. My heart goes out to you all. If there is anything you need, please count on me. I loved Kris like she was my sister. You will always be family to me. I will miss her so much!! She will live on our hearts and I hope that it will help heal us all. There are so many good times we had, dont forget them.
