Mildred Kalmus Obituary

Monroe - Mildred Kalmus, a housewife and 24-year area resident, passed away on Friday, November 2, 2007 at Orange Regional Medical Center in Goshen. She was 79.

The daughter of the late Nathan Sirota and Gussie Fuchs Sirota, she was born on July 1, 1928 in the Bronx.

Survivors include her husband, Milton Kalmus of Monroe; son, Roy Kalmus and his wife Joyce of Monroe; daughter, Joy Aronson and her husband Charles of Valley Village, California; grandchildren, Stephen Kalmus and his wife Jessica, Gary Kalmus and his wife Lana, Matthew Kalmus and Nicole & Jamie Aronson; great granddaughter, Hailey Kalmus.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 8 at 11 a.m. at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Avenue, Monroe, with Cantor Elena Schwartz officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Rochelle Park, N.J.

Memorial contributions may be made to The ALS Association, Development Department, 27001 Agoura Road, Suite 150, Calabasas Hills, CA 91301.
