Ada Barnett Obituary

Bloomingburg - Ada C. Barnett, a retired Telephone Operator for ITT in Manhattan, and resident of Bloomingburg, formerly of the Bronx, entered into rest on November 4, 2007 at Elant at Goshen. She was 92.

The daughter of Philip and Carlotta D'Ambrosio, she was born May 16, 1915 in New York City, N.Y. She was the widow of Arthur Barnett.

A family statement reads: "The family of Ada would like to thank the staff at Elant at Goshen for the excellent care given to their mother."

Survivors include her loving daughter, Arline Rodstrom and husband of Monroe; loving sons, Ronald Barnett of Fort Pierce, Fla. and James R. Barnett and his wife of Bloomingburg; many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 8, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home, Inc., 1525 Burlingham Rd., Pine Bush, NY 12566.

Graveside services and burial will be held on Friday, November 9, at 11 a.m. at the Bloomingburg Cemetery, with Father Raymond Bagdonis, O. Carm officiating.
