Robert L. "Bobby" Davis

Livingston Manor- Robert L. "Bobby" Davis, a self-employed logger, and lifetime resident of the area, died on Thursday, November 8, 2007 at the Catskill Regional Medical Center. He was 55 years old. The son of the late Robert M. and Gladys Hyzer Davis, he was born on February 28, 1952 in Livingston Manor, N.Y. Bobby loved animals and watching the old western movies, but his all time passion was logging. He leaves behind his loving wife of 30 years, Barbara, at home; one daughter, Jennifer LaRusso and her husband, Anthony, of White Lake; one stepson, Charles McAdams and his wife, Lenna, and their children of Livingston Manor; two sisters, Katherine Hendrickson and her husband, Robert, of N.C.; Jacki Wright and her husband, Mike, of Grahamsville; three brothers: Daniel Davis and his wife, Shirley, of Loch Sheldrake; William Davis his wife, Crystal, and their children of Livingston Manor; Fred Davis his wife, Brandy, and their children of Livingston Manor; four stepbrothers: Tracey Sprague and his wife, Timmy Wolcott, Mike Wolcott and his wife, Terry, and Chris Wolcott; one step-sister, Jennie Keller and her husband, John; one grandson, Anthony Patrick LaRusso, Jr.; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and one very close friend, Abaz Celaj and his wife, Suzanne, of Youngsville. The family will receive friends, on Saturday, November 10th from 2-4 p.m. at Herbert C. Bryant Funeral Home, 29 Pearl Street, Livingston Manor. A funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
