Anthony Tripoli Obituary

Tuxedo - Anthony B. Tripoli, a lifelong resident of Tuxedo, passed away November 22, 2007 at home with his loving family at his side.

He was born February 27, 1924 to the late Joseph and Rose Tripoli in Tuxedo. He was the widower of Susan M. Tripicchio Tripoli.

He was a staff sergeant in the US Army. He served in the Pacific Theater during World War II. He was a retired superintendent of Public Works for the Village of Tuxedo Park.

Family Statement: "Dad was a devoted father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He always made time for his family who always came first. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him."

Survivors include one son, Joseph Tripoli and his wife Kathy of Tuxedo; one daughter Marie Marsh and her husband Robert of Tuxedo; his grandchildren, Heather and her husband Todd, Joseph, Nicole, Rob, Sheri and her husband Mike; his great- grandchildren, Travis, Anthony, Joseph, Steven, Taylor and Nicholas.

Vistitation will be held on Monday, November 26 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Avenue, Monroe. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 27 at 10 a.m. at St. Anastasia Shrine Church, 21 North Main Street, Harriman. Interment will be in Ascension Cemetery in Monsey, N.Y.

Memorial donations may be made to the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America, New England Chapter, 280 Hillside Avenue, Needham, MA 02494.
