Dorothy Soricelli Obituary

New Windsor - Dorothy Soricelli, of New Windsor, entered into rest on November 23, 2007 at Elant at Newburgh. She was 88.

Daughter of the late Frank and Naomi Ficocelli, she was born February 28, 1919 in Youngstown, Ohio. She was married to Frank Soricelli, who survives at home.

In addition to her loving husband, Frank, she is survived by her sons, Dennis Soricelli and Frank Soricelli, both of New Windsor; grandchildren, Joseph Soricelli of New Hampshire, Anthony Soricelli, Laura Canausa, Dorothy Torpey, all of New Windsor, and Debra Venturo of Cranford, N.J.; great-grandchildren, Martin and Maria Venturo, Nicole and Daniella Canausa; sister, Helen Carmello of Youngstown, Ohio. She was predeceased by her son Joseph Soricelli.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 27 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh, NY 12550. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 28 at Sacred Heart Church, Newburgh. Burial will follow in St. Raymond's Cemetery, Bronx.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Dorothy's memory may be made to Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America, 17th Floor, 386 Park Ave. South, New York, NY 10016.
