Betty Allen Obituary
Daughter of the late Arthur D. Finuff and Frances Lynn Finuff, she was born in Quincy, Florida on January 20, 1943. Betty was a retired logistics procurement specialist at Keller Army Community Hospital, West Point, N.Y.
She is survived by her husband, William W. Allen, at home; two sons, John G. Sanders of Germany and William L. Sanders of Rock Island, Ill.; two daughters, Saundra D. Palazzo of Highland Falls and Sheila D. Schwartz of Maybrook; brothers, James Cook, Bobby Cook and Hubert Cook - all of Bascom, Fla.; sisters, Ann Brunson of Garland, Texas, and Jean Hargove of Bascom, Fla., 11 grandchildren: James, Robert, Anthony, Andrew, Angeline, Victoria, Ashley, Alexis, Mia, Jordan and Justin.
Friends and family may call on Friday, November 30 from 3-6 p.m. at William F. Hogan Funeral Home, 135 Main Street, Highland Falls.
The funeral service will be held at 5 p.m. in the funeral home on Friday, November 30 with the Rev. Michael L. Palazzo officiating. Cremation will take place at Cedar Hill Crematory, Middle Hope, NY.
Funeral arrangements are by William F. Hogan Funeral Home. 845-446-2868 DOUGLAS SR. - Abrom, 75, of Forestburg, died November 24, 2007 at Arden Hill Hospital, Goshen. Memorial service: Thursday, November 29 from 6:30-8 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 29 Liberty Street, Monticello. The Rev. James Matthew, Pastor officiating. Refreshments afterwards. Funeral: Friday, November 30 at New Jerusalem Baptist Church, the Rev. Mark Tyler, Pastor, 282 Thompkins Ave., Brooklyn at 11:30 a.m. Burial: Pine Lawn Cemetery, Farmingdale.
