Dorothy Knauer Obituary
The daughter of the late Joseph Shay & Lillian Jarvis Shay, she was born on June 19, 1944 in Walden.
A family statement reads: "Dorothy was the most loving, caring, and wonderful mother. She had endless devotion to her family and is now at home with her parents."
She is survived by: her loving son, Art Knauer and his wife, Kimberly, of Dingmans Ferry, Pa.; loving daughter, Christine Knauer-Baggatta and her husband, Jeff, of Pine Bush; loving sister, Ruth Grossi, of Pine Bush; 8 loving grandchildren: Artie, Victoria, Meghan, Melanie, Brandon, Nicole, Jeffery, and Billy; two great- grandchildren, Logan and Natalee; as well as several nieces and nephews. Art Knauer Sr, further survives her.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 2 from 2-5 p.m. at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home, 1525 Burlingham Rd., Pine Bush, NY 12566.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 3 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Robert B. Hewitt officiating.
Burial will be in the family plot in New Prospect Cemetery.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I worked with your Mom at the old Heritage. You're right, your mom had such a sweet loving spirit. She loved you guys so much. I know she will be missed!
