Josephine LaBrie Obituary

Rock Tavern - Josephine Joan LaBrie (Fanini), formerly of Queens, N.Y. died on Friday, November 30, 2007. She was 88 years old.

She was the daughter of Ettore Fanini & Angelina Ricci, born July 28, 1919 in New York, N.Y.

She was a self-employed seamstress and switchboard operator. Mrs. LaBrie was a former member of St. Adelbert's R.C. Church in Elmhurst.

She was the loving mother of Rosemarie (Mimi) and her husband, Michael Manza, and Joseph and his wife, Marie; devoted grandmother of Michael and his wife, Kath, Helen and her husband, Rudy Kueck, Kim Manza, Suzanne and her husband, Richard Lakis, and Michele and her husband, Chris Hanlon. She was a devoted great-grandmother of Nicole Manza, Zachery Wideman, Jessica and Andrew Lakis, and Paige, Collin and Ethan Hanlon. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Daniel A. LaBrie.

Family and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass on Saturday, December 8, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Consolation R.C. Church, 1799 Hamburg Tpke., Wayne, N.J.
